Why Does My Hyaluronic Sheet Mask Feel Tingly and Warm?

If you've ever applied the Hyaluronic Sheet Mask and noticed a warm or tingly sensation, you're not alone, and there's absolutely nothing to worry about.

That feeling is a sign the formula is working. The Hyaluronic Sheet Mask is a high-dose, active formula built around sodium hyaluronate, and when it meets your skin, it gets to work quickly. It penetrates more deeply than most products you've likely used before. The warmth and tingling you feel is your skin responding to a concentrated dose of active hydration, not a sign of irritation.

Most people find the sensation settles within five to eight minutes. If it hasn't subsided after that point, we'd recommend removing the mask and rinsing the skin. If the warmth continues even after cleansing, it may simply mean your skin needs a little more time to adjust to the level of actives before your next use.

One thing worth noting: the response is heightened if you've exfoliated before masking. If you're new to the Hyaluronic Sheet Mask, we recommend applying it after cleansing only, and avoiding any exfoliation beforehand until you have a good sense of how your skin responds.

The reason our mask feels more intense than others you may have used comes down to formulation. She & I Skin Co. doesn't dilute its hero ingredients or pad our formulas with fillers. What's on the ingredient list is there in full, working strength, which is exactly why the results are as noticeable as they are.

Plumped, lifted, deeply hydrated skin in a single use. That tingle is your reassurance it’s working.
